A leading health plan provider sought to upgrade its decision-quality by addressing underlying issues in data management and leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics for improved data visualization. The challenge was to integrate diverse data sources into a cohesive, high-quality data warehouse (DW) environment and develop intuitive visualizations that could drive better decision-making across the organization. ProCogia was tasked with developing a solution that would streamline data processes, enhance data quality, and enable self-service analytics across departments.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was the presence of significant data quality issues that adversely affected key business drivers, coupled with a lack of efficient mechanisms for generating reports and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The health plan provider needed a robust data management framework and advanced visualization capabilities to support accurate, timely decision-making and monitor performance effectively.

We took a multi-threaded, agile approach that allowed the company to quickly produce high-quality visualizations and advance its core data management and BI infrastructure. Our process included the following steps
Identify the business drivers that are important to the various stakeholders

Develop mechanisms to generate reports from the new DW (Data Warehouse) environment
Analyze the KPIs to detect discrepancies
