The challenge was to enhance the employees’ data science skills while providing them with advanced tools for better data consumption and insights into metrics related to diseases and vaccines. ProCogia was tasked with developing bespoke RShiny dashboards and delivering targeted training to upskill the client’s team in data science techniques, particularly in building and customizing Shiny applications.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was twofold: firstly, to elevate the client’s team’s proficiency in data science and RShiny application development; and secondly, to create customized dashboards that could effectively display key metrics for drug and vaccine development. The solution needed to be user-friendly, allowing for the easy creation and amendment of dashboards, and robust enough to provide deeper insights into critical health metrics.

ProCogia created bespoke training materials based on the client’s requirements and current level of knowledge.
We delivered onsite training and in parallel developed RShiny Dashboards which displayed key metrics to help in the development of drugs and vaccines against various diseases.
We focused on how to build a Shiny app and how to customize reactions and appearance. We also highlighted common pitfalls and mistakes our client was likely to encounter while applying the techniques.
